You'll get an additional invisible bonus when you're riding it, 30% damage and damage reduction if it's 100% imprinted, so 15-16% for you.

You can set the imprint quality on any tame, hatched or wild-caught. you can set the imprint quality on any age. I'm not actually sure on this. I would assume that if the hatchling were imprinted to a rider, it would get whatever bonus was given. But I'm not sure one way or another if you get that extra bonus without being the one to imprint it.

Your damage buff is based on the imprint percenrage. If you, for example imprint for 50%, you have a 50% of 30% total damage/reduction. An easy formula would be x*30/100 with x being the percentage of imprint you have on your dino. You'll know how much % of damage and damage reduction you'll get.

If it's for increased stats, then having more imprints with increased stat multiplier would be the most beneficial. If going for rider bonus only, less imprints are more beneficial so you don't have to baby sit.
