As a Hospitalist, I could always moonlight or take on side gigs such as SNF director to supplement income.In general Rad-Onc tends to be much better in lifestyle. this is highly decisive. Rad onc is somewhate more technical related, I think. You like call, rounding the wards, placing catheters and chemo -> heme/onc. But these are intended for MD/PhD types, and the expectation is that the applicant will stay academic beyond training.
