The overall construction. and look of this budget riffle is impressive. Everything is nice and tight and the seams are very tight. It looks sleek and modern the plastic used is not feel cheap.So far in both my CVA Optima V2 and my son's Wolf we've shot both Harvester crush rib & smooth black sabots, T/C Superglide sabots, Hornady sabots that come with SST hi-speed low drag, and Hornady .44/.50 & .45/.50 sabots. All have shot well from both rifles. The crush ribs definitely load easier, as advertised.There's only a 2" barrel length difference between the Wolf and the Optima. To me the difference in barrel length is a non-issue. For a few years, and many deers, i have been carrying a 23" barrel. It works good. However, in my opinion, the opening/closing latch on the Optima V2 is a way more better than the latch on the Wolf. My choice would be the Optima V2, because of the latch mechanism.

I bought a CVA Optima many years ago. I love it. I hear the Accura is great but have never shot one. I highly recommend Blackhorn 209 powder. Non corrosive, I can shoot many rounds between a full cleaning with no issues. I shoot 100-105 grains with a 240grain Barnes T-EZ over it and it's a great shooter.
