Best answer by Dyson Community Moderator. Hey @Zdogg77. This is not normal behavior. More often than not, when a dryer shuts off, it’s due to an overheating issue. The most common cause of that is the filter, and you can read more about machine maintenance here . However, a brand-new dryer should not be performing in this manner.
When you use the hair dryer, it draws a lot of amperage and so the lights start to dim/flicker.
