The ego mower can’t handle the grass wet and doesn’t do a good job on dry grass so I went with a Toro gas self propelled. The Toro does an exceptional job cutting the grass even. The big thing to check for compatibility (aside from blade length obviously) is the shape of the pins/lugs/whatever you want to call them that lock the blade to the hub.
