I have a 2017 Yukon Denali. I'm bringing my truck in on Friday to the dealer for the 8 speed shudder. Truck has 31,800 miles and just started the shudder 2 weeks ago, now it's every day. My 3 yr/36 month is up in a week. I've read there is TSB for the shocks, made them aware of the hard brake pedal (vacuum loss) so they'll be fixing that.2017 GMC Canyon Shudder. If you HAVE to drive the truck until the dealer can fix it, putting the transmission in tow mode around town and then taking it out of tow mode at highway speed (65+ mph) should reduce or maybe stop the shuddering. Tow mode changes the shift points and keeps the RPM's higher. Otherwise, I personally consider the GMC Canyon the best mid-sized truck in the market, and even the "new" Ranger is but a shadow to the Canyon. #2: I have the same problem with my six speed 2016.
