Intermittently I have a check engine light on with a flashing D, when the drive light is flashing, the engine bucks with acceleration. I had the code read at Autozone and it gave me a P0344 which indicates a failure with the cam position sensor.
This is what he had to say. If the "D" light is flashing and there is no code, it is because the part has not failed. The only way to find out what is coming is to bring it in so they can snapshot it in realtime with their more advanced equipment.
