Then a couple days ago I drove about 50 miles on a short trip and about 10 miles from my destination the AFS OFF light began flashing, but about 2 miles from my destination the light stopped flashing and the AFS lights began turning like normal.
From my searches, another option to disable the AFS light is to unplug the headlight control module, but I can't find it's location. I found websites showing the location for many other Lexus models but not GX's. I am befuddled and in quite a conundrum about this. Hi all, I started getting this flashing AFS light on my 2006 rx400h today. I found that the position of the AFS switch made no difference after the flashing began, but if I parked and turned everything off, the problem must sometimes have reset, because it did not always come on again straight away.
