Check your inventory for a resonance amp. You can use 4 resonance stems on it and it will give a location clue such as “Luna.Sanctuary.Stage.Backdrop” which is a hint at where to find this node. All locations are on YouTube and take less than a minute to grab and it gives you an ikelos weapon.
If you do nothing else, play enough of Season of the Seraph to craft the Ikelos SMG. If you want to farm high-stat armor, play Season of the Haunted. If it is a "world" drop it needs to be one of the "worldly" umbral options.Gunsmith sells them on occasion, can also drop in the wild. The loot pool is pretty diluted with guns so it's not super easy unless you have last seasons focusing unlocked. Pains me to say this but just keep grinding and hopefully rng helps you out, remember though a bad ikelos smg can still spawn cells.
900 beats a 720 any day. Subjunctive is flat out better cause of the better archetype. Voltshot also benefits more from subjunctive being faster firing as you want to pepper jolted targets to get the arc damage to proc faster. If you are going to run a warmind build look for the Seventh Seraph weapons. I think they will still drop in the world pool drops and Banshee and Xur will sell them. All the Ikelos are crap including the SMG. I run Warmind builds all the time and I use Seraph weapons to generate cells. As for feeding frenzy, I'm still testing it vs threatdetector but Ikelos smg needs FAR too many kills for FF so far. I'm highly recommended threat detector for a more immediately noticeable reload speed buff instead of needing 3-4 kills per perk proc to get comparable reload speed. Also, as a console player the thing kicks like a damn mule.
It is an excellent weapon. Ps5 is current gen. Haven't used a crafted one, but SMGs are really good on console. It's essentially a Borrowed Time you don't have to pray to the rng gods for.
