Dec 8, 2005 · Posted December 8, 2005. I ran a 7200 and a 1750 6 row vacuum planter with a 6300 Deere tractor, ran the vacuum off Power Beyond, and the lift and markers were on seperate valves. I have a 1770 12 row now that is pulled with a 7810, vacuum is run on Power Beyond, and lift, fold, and markers on the 3 remotes. I understand that this is the same bar as a John Deere 1780. I do like it BUT .....the cylinders in the center of the bar decided to quit lifting during planting last spring.

Jan 24, 2014 · We had 1780 12/23 that we used for beans only for quite a while and it did a fine job, for the money that they are asking for them I think it would be a good move for a bean only planter. You are right when you say that problem could be in valve block. There is a simple fix: Remove the transport/plant lever on the side of the valve by removing the small cap screws.The problem with using HP when CCS is going has come and gone all spring. My guess is something wrong is Valve Block on the planter that is not letting the CCS circuit return its oil free without restriction back to the tractor. When this happens it creates pressure in the tractor and that is why I pop hoses out.

The only way to do it is to mount a second 7x7 bar behind the origional main 7x7 frame bar.
