Today we began K-Swapping this Mazda MX-5 Miata! We are installing a Honda K24Z3 into this 1996 Mazda Miata. This video is the introduction to this K Series...The ideal engine to use for this swap is the K24Z3 engine found in the 2009-2014 Acura TSX. They are cheap and plentiful. Our test engine was only $350 delivered from a local salvage yard. Search this forum and you will see many people making good power or stock A4's. If you have an Accord you are screwed.The K24/k20 engine build are complete beast, unless you really want something totally builded that will push around 600-700 whp, i would go for the all motor build. 5 speed transmissions are more solid than the 6 speeds, at 300-350 whp i would use the stock 5 speed transmission that comes with 2,4 vtec engines.
