Ram 2500 stuck in 4th gear.

Code is P0750 which is the Shifter solenoid. Truck doesn't even have 5000. miles on it yet and they got to replace this part. I think damage has already. been done by how many times it has made this loud hard clunk and gone into. 4th gear manual shift mode. He said it's not exactly a common problem that they see but they have done plenty of valve bodies on the 66RFE and 68RFE with good success.

Dec 7, 2013 · while you have it down go ahead and check the tower seals. the solonoid pack bolts to the valve body. just unbolt it and bolt in the new one, the new one may not come with the same color connector, will be white or grey, but no worries here. bolt it all back up, clear your codes and drive. the 4 is the limp mode. Transmission was flaring between 3rd and 4th gears with delayed garage shifts. Replaced PCM, Torque converter, Pump Assy, cluthes (the 4 cluthes were not burnt, but did have metal grit stuck in the friction material) Installed new clutch and 4C clutch retainer was melted to the reverse flush cooler. P0882 and truck stuck in 4th means you are not getting 12V power from the Trans Relay (in the Totally Integrated Power Module [TIPM]) to the trans. The PCM sends a signal (at startup) to tell the Trans Relay to close, which then feeds 12V power to the trans. Might be best to have your dealer diagnose. 5.7L.
