I was planning on doing that just for the initial break in after that I was gonna do everything else myself. I changed my oil at 300 and am about to do it again at 600. New oil never hurts, especially while it's breaking in. That’s just a waste. Definitely change your own.

Where do you live and ride? I wouldn't buy a Grom if you routinely have to stay at 50mph or above for any period of time. If you're pretty small and it breaks in well, you might hit 60 or 65mph in a tuck on flat ground. It's really happiest at slower speeds.
