Light vs medium load elden ring.
I kind of agree, medium roll feels better in Elden Ring to me and I've not been able to put my finger on why exactly. Every souls game before this I always made sure I met the light roll ratio, even if it meant being naked. Yet now in Elden Ring, I want to be heavy enough to be medium. Something feels very different about it, in a good way.
The light roll takes a long time to do and caused me to get hit by follow ups more often. The result is that there's really no build that isn't going to end up with enough endurance to wear all but the heaviest of armor sets and still medium roll. They also should go back to having light equip weight allow you to run slightly faster. There just isn't enough benefit to justify the loss in damage absorption.

Trading some marginal damage buff for light rolls is an incredibly cheap trade off. Also, the light roll buff to BHS (and quickstep to a degree) can undo a lot of the progress from the patch.
