After replacing the whole ignition system (ignition coil, stator with pickup coil, plug, wire, CDI, voltage regulator, solenoid) I still have no spark. I checked the ETC and it's working fine. Ohms is one thing - voltage is another, but if the charge coil is damaged and shorted to ground, you will get at best a weak spark but most usually no spark.
