Fisher plow no power to controller.
This is a first. A few year old Fisher UTV V plow. Upon startup the controller lights up, backlit but can't get a red power light to come on. After machine has been running for a few minutes the controller will magically allow you to get the red light on and work the plow. It's almost as if something needs time to warm up.

Im confident that big red power supply has nothing to do with your controller and if you left that unplugged everything else would power up. The hand held controller is a signal generator that sends a unique frequency down a single wire to the plow where it is decoded and then power is sent to …Unless your dealer eliminates it and puts another holder in. Pull the fuse and check it/ swap it out. Don't tell me it "looks" ok cause unless you test it it's only speculation. If that fuse is good folllow the wire to power source ( another fuse in the panel or splice under the dash ) and check that source. Test light is helpful here.

Just double checked and pins 2&7 are common (ground) on the plow side, reading continuity, so it should trigger the headlights to switch over when plugged in. Wire #1 in the vehicle-side controller harness tests at 0 V. - Wire #1 in the vehicle-side controller harness is intact and has electrical connectivity from the harness to pin C, port B of the isolation module. - Power is reaching the isolation module as expected. If not use a test light and make sure. The most likely problem is the grounds from the plow lights themselves to the frame. Take the lights apart and check and/or replace the grounds, wires inside the case take a lot of vibration and that can cause them to fail.Don't forget to check the bulbs to be sure they're good too. Any help would be aprreciated. make sure both plugs are plugged in- need the ground from the power plug and make sure all the connections in the 9/11 pin plug are good, clean and functional.
