I filled my 1992 Honda Shadow 1100 just recently and it showed 50.1 MPG. This with a smoother ride. The Sporty was fun on twisty roads. But make it a short ride. I can do a short twisty road ride on the Shadow or a three hour ride across the state. Ride the VTX for a couple hours in the hills then hop on the Magna. The bike runs good but the fuel economy is really low, like I have to switch to reserve after 80 miles. The dealer has service records showing the carbs were rebuilt.
