Both the Mach 1 and Hoyt surprised me on the decimal meter too, was expecting Mathews to dominate. That Revolt is pretty impressive I must admit, great speed, quiet and with well over 7" of brace.

Unfortunately I have to drive a long way to find a shop that does have PSE, Hoyt, and Mathews. I have held a Mathews and a Hoyt. The HCX is heavy and the TRX 36 draws a little stiff. I tend to favor hoyt bows but given the same choice I’d choose the Mathews. I had a vertix and it was a great bow, I’ve shot the torrex and they’re nice, not Mathews flagship nice but very nice. V3X 33 vs Ventum Pro 33 yielded the Mathews on top at my DL. Hoyt felt like a stiffer draw to me. I really liked the new grip and new carbon riser. Hoyt definitely made some strides in the right direction this year. I enjoyed the RX-7 Ultra but can't get past the price tag. Shoot a PSE Evo XF 33 if you want to further complicate things.
