Frontstrap checkering is nice, but on the alloy frame, it is sensitive to large rings. Pro TLE II seems better choice if two tone and service melt and ambi is not required. I have been carrying a Kimber M1911 concealed for about 25 years. I have tried two brands of factory ammo and it shoots that fine, no problems.
