I just recently purchased a knight lk93 used and have never owned a black powder rifle before It came with some of the Hogdon triple 7 powder pellets and on the box of powder it says to use 209 primers but the rifle came with Remington no11 primers will these work with triple 7 pellets the previous owner ... The 209 has a point on it to strike the 209 primers, the #11 has a flat face. The LK-93 is a nice little lightweight no frills gun. They will drive tacks if you set it up right. Try a 240gr to 260gr bullet with sabot, and 90-100gr loose powder (777 or Pyrodex RS) to start out. The folks at Knight rifles ( 866-518-4181) said that the original hammer with the conical pointed firing pin is ok to use with the #11 and musket caps.I was sighting in the new Sightron I scope that day. The first three at the bottom is where it first hit with the new scope. A little adjustment and it was shooting sweet. My Knight is the LK-II model 93 Wolverine. Mine shoots #11 caps and is not 209 able. Yours must have a conversion or be a newer model.
