I know of the QC issues with the stock Prodigy’s which seem to be fixed by upgrading some of the internals. Fit is nicer, finish is significantly nicer, and parts feel more solid. Everyone who has shot the 2 side by side (me included) believe the prodigy actually shoots nicer/softer. If price isn’t a big factor and out of the box performance is, then the Staccato is the way to go.
