There was one at Wharfside villa ge, a tourist walking up Jacobs ladder (beaten so badly they thought he was run over by a car) and at Rhumb Lines in Coral Bay.We go to St John at least twice per year and stay in the Bordeaux Mtn or Coral Bay areas. Lots of breeze there to keep bugs off, but still a lot of mosquitoes and no-see ums. We took a spray this year called Sawyers Insect Repellant with 20% picaridin and had fewer bites. It is apparently shallower and murky, a shark nursery.Grocery shopping. My family and I will be traveling to St. John Virgin Islands next week. My parents feel they need to bring a few boxes of food because the grocery store shelves maybe empty and we may not find essentials. I disagree and feel we should just buy all of our food when we arrive.

6 years ago. There may be jet ski rentals at the Westin on St John. You should check with them. Sapphire Marina probably has best, but not sure who has that business now. It may still be Dive In! You can go all week and never loose sight of land but sail for 3-4 hours a day and spend the morning or afternoon at a different mooring on a different island. With the USVI there are 3 main islands. I appreciate when rental owners and resorts include drone footage on their sites. Drones over public areas doing aerial photography don't bother me all that much, if they keep to respectful heights and distances.
