But even as a MOD, DayZ mod is far more polished than the standalone right now.

Here is the issue. I play a lot of DayZ the standalone among other games. My issue is I am not getting the system performance I am looking for. I will list my system below. I have seen videos and streamers with a comparable or even less powerful setups do much better in town(s). When the download is resumed, it starts from the beginning (Steam bug), meaning I have lost most of my progress. This has happened twice so far. What I'm asking for is a torrent or FTP of the current (or close to it) DayZ alpha build. My plan is to download that and place it in the appropriate Steam folder and have Steam verify the game files.
