I'm currently farming (trying) vertebra shackles, offline, in the Catacombs of Carthus, killing the 3 skeletons near the bonfire. But after more than one hour farming, I just got ONE, and it was from the third skeleton, not the two …So, I took a nap, hit the bonfire and set out to farm some Vertebra. The Catacombs were spooky, dark, monsters lurking about, blending all but their soulless glowing red eyes. Now, these harmless skeletons are pretty harmless to someone sitting comfy at SL 125, (Besides their bleed ability), but their move set gives me suicidal thoughts. if you missed out grabbing the covenant in the Undead Settlement b4 you killed the Curse-Rotted Greatwood, then you are SoL until NG+ or you make a new character to get the covenant. short of doing either of these. you can always try farming the shackles from the catacombs. some of the skeletons have a small % chance to drop them.
