However the ergos of the buttstock/comb are definitely more tactical/prs oriented. Given MDT's rapidly growing reputation for good design, excellent manufacturing and good value, its magazines may eventually challenge the current AICS 'standard' role in this market. The KRG is a bit lighter and a bit more expensive than the Oryx.

Honestly, at least for what has been released so far, the Bravo seems like a better product with many more accessories and options. You can pick up a Bravo and a couple of accessories for the same price that the XRS is supposed to sell for. The krg bravo is another option. It is very basic, but it offers everything you're asking for. The krg bravo and oryx are probably the most common options, as they offer everything people are looking for in one package. The oryx is the heavier option, it is one, solid piece of aluminium while the bravo is polymer.

The XRS forearm is a little longer and I can get the bipod out further than on a regular Bravo. I extended my Bravo with the KRG spigot mount. The XRS has 3 M-LOK slots on the sides whereas the Bravo has two. The M-LOK attachments will attach to plastic on both. The bottom of the forearm on both have 5 M-LOK slots.

The stock is really nice and the accuracy is outstanding. I have two Bergara B14 HMR Wilderness Rifles in 6.5 PRC and 300 PRC .
