Ways to improve the experience of a bitten character: My ideas come from two possibles approaches: Direct approach ( Direct ways of treating a bite ) Indirect approach ( Creating ways that indirectly makes bites less punishing and give reasons to keep playing after a bite ) Direct approaches. Treating your bite: Currently bites are 100% deadly.
Oct 7, 2014 · The fact you turn when you die is probably not directly related to the bite, just the fact that you die and already have and have had all along the airborne virus or whatever that causes reanimation. Lots of misinformation here. I tested this just last week and no, bites will NOT kill you on Everyone's Infected settings. You'll get all the usual symptoms and even a bit of health loss due to fever, but even with Prone to Illness the fever only lasts a couple hours before you start to recover. 4. Putting your bite victim in a windowless room and boarding up the entrances is usually enough to get the job done. That said, they can still break open doors if given an incentive. If your bitten character has a load of good loot, you might want to trap them in a room in a multi-story building and smash the stairs.

Bite protection on clothing can save you, but that requires alot of work and knowledge to get up to a high enough level, and even then theres a chance a bite can slip past. The best bite protection is to not get bitten at all, but maxxed out clothing armor can be a close 2nd. #6. No, thats wrong. The knox infection will appear as "infected" on a wound, the same way a regular infection does. You cant tell the two apart on the menu itself, but you CAN'T be infected without a bite, scratch, or laceration from a zombie. It's not a zombie infection unless you actually got bitten or scratched by a zombie. Bites are guaranteed to turn you, scratches have a 25% chance IIRC. You'll be fine if the wound had a different cause, I'm pretty sure having infected blood on your clothes and skin can't turn you even if you have an open wound. 4.
