I can say, though, promotion does its job. If HTGAWM was promoted as much as GoT and BrBa did, it would have been more successful than now. Tbh this isnt an "unpopular" view at all, Oliver is probably the number 3 most hated character. Not that I agree, I mean yes you just identified his character flaws, he has them, I mean, they're all pretty messed up people when you get down to it, but theyre messed up in interesting ways. I feel like all the characters were unfair to her, blaming her for everything that goes on in their life although sometimes it had nothing to do with her yet she still protected them. She speaks her mind and doesn’t let people walk all over her, which is admirable. I never got the hate for Wes and Rebecca individually as characters nor as a couple. Something that will always baffle me in regards to this series.
