Mar 5, 2024 · This is Chris Ellison’s TRX250R. It is running the Sphinx 350 kit with CR250 ignition, 41.5mm LED bored Keihn carburetor, V-Force reed valve, and LED low port. The bike also has the LED exhaust and silencer and the LED intake. The bike made 65.3HP at 7750RPM and 48.9ft-lb of torque at 6500RPM.I used the OEM boot & electrical PVC & made a bracket & clamp to hold it. Welding is best done on bare steel. Whether your using hand tools to take off the paint, paint stripper or the most popular way of sand blasting, the paint will hinder the welding process. Some ask if Tig is stronger or better than Mig (wire). When done correctly the end strength is the same.I run cool-heads on all my 2 strokes, with 18cc domes (highest compression dome available pro-design) and have to use race gas. I would bet that power between the 2 setups (same cc) would be very close in hp/tq. I have yet to see any of the smaller puma cylinders run. Nothing but a washed up trx250r.net hasbeen.
