I just returned the 78213 hitch to uhaul and went to my Honda dealer and picked up the OEM hitch. Expensive, but appears much more stable. As a side note, when I went to uhaul to return the hitch, the dude at the counter tried to talk me out of returning it. He told me "none" of their hitches have a center support and they never have any problems.
