Dec 9, 2015 · PT940 is a good gun. There is one small issue that you should be aware of. On the right side of the gun just above the grip is the trigger bar. On top of the trigger bar rides the trigger bar spring in a narrow grove. The spring is very thin and can pop out of the grove causing the gun to be a "Single Shot" pistol.

The only real complaint I had about it was a tendency of it's hammer to bite me. Traded it off for my .45 24/7 OSS which I consider to be a much more ergonomic design, at least for my hand. Seriously consider the PT845 as it's grip is adjustable. PT945 with Hogue Grip and Short DA Trigger.
